texjer @suprb eff it, just bought the dropular app, nothing for the apple store to remove right now.
In Dropular Closing? 2 days 7 h ago
texjer @suprb that sounds great, I really hope the dropular app doesn't get removed from the apple store. Do you know what happens if you buy an app and then it gets removed?
In Dropular Closing? 4 days 5 h ago
texjer @joachim that would be nice @suprb are you hearing this?

texjer I see a lot of people on the web using Georgia when they have big Quotes. I'm wondering what people think is the best italic font for print.
In Italic 6 days 19 h ago
texjer Thanks polarbear! I can definitely see how Lucida Grande is the best . Now it makes me wonder if there's a site detailing the percentages of users on the internet with Lucida Grande, or Helvetica, etc.

texjer @peculiarfish Very very cool, thanks for letting me know.

texjer Seems more like mathematics is able to explain parts of things, but not the whole thing. I dont' think it's surprising that plants grow in a mathematical pattern, or rocks chip off in a similar way. That said, I think we're fairly predictable.

texjer @SergioAguilar I just got into Gravity, I've got two more invites. I don't know, I don't like categories, I wish Qonverstation was better populated.

texjer @Hughes yeah... there's most definitely not as much material out there on torrents, but there's a lot more of it.

texjer @danieldiggle ya, I don't know, when it was going strong the "portfolio cms" was googles second result for those two words. I still think it has the largest list of portfolio cms options right now.

texjer @peculiarfish eff yeah, iphone compatibility is crucial for portfolios, because that's how they get seen half the time. Any preview url for your iphone theme?

texjer @thatothertime good to know, been waiting for someone to confirm one way or the other
In Invite Share/Swap 2010-01-18 07:36:40
texjer I wish someone would just right an article about how there are no more ffffound invites, because I don't think that anybody is finding them any more @dsilva -- dropular is good, or try imgspark.com

texjer Wait wait wait wait - Yes screens are getting bigger, but my browser always ends up at roughly 1000px because that's the size of most websites. I use the rest of the screen for productivity. This struck me as I was looking at this portfolio, at 1050px or so http://www.lewiskylewhite.com/ - I resized my browser to accommodate the slightly larger image.

texjer @pieratt I know some of my suggestions have been deutschy, srrrry. I think Svpply is awesome. I had another suggestion - some kind of check mark that you can add to items if you've already acquired them.
In Svpply 2009-12-20 12:44:25
texjer It's kind of addictive, any of you guys read this? Every once in a while I'll think it is the newspaper killer and then I remember that it couldn't survive without the newspaper.
In The Week 2009-12-18 06:51:28
texjer @pieratt Longest comment for the win! Your comment needed no introduction; your comment almost contradicts your statement because it introduces itself. But I agree, browsing twittery comments in the Joined / Suggested / All -- it is jarring. I have it as the first thing when I open Firefox and then I don't really see it again all day. It moves slow enough that I know most of the conversations. I guess it's my morning paper. And I read The #Week to get everything else. I'm a big fan of the "Comments" section on a blog; when I google search for information, I often use the language of commenters, and typically scroll to the bottom of the page for my results; so Qonversation appeals to me for that reason.
In Qonversation 2009-12-18 06:50:17
texjer yeah I know, I wonder how much accounts sell for. @thatothertime
