kblair I find it hard to just join in on Twitter conversations. Maybe I am a socially supersensitive, but I like this group format better -- it's more inviting and I think it would lead to more connections with people. Also it seems like a great way to find interesting online projects that people are actually discussing.

densmirnov @deadelvis Better say Twitter.reinvented. Qonversation is a little bit harder than twitter. And if twitter is (well, at least must be) for user statuses, Q is for free talk.

theraf Twitter stopped being a place for conversations when they started messing with @replies and you cannot track conversations by people who don't follow you – correct me if I'm wrong.

texjer Twitter? My first thought was that this runs on Vanilla, but I think I'm wrong, am I? This is a lot like QBN though, especially the part where you can't edit your posts. I love it. I just fell in love with QBN last night, and now I'm here. Superb, Suprb.

sprysoft Not sure I agree it's similar to Twitter. More of a forum for everyone and topic. Similar message boards on the net a good few years ago. Like it though as it's a good retro idea brought up to date.

thatothertime qonversation is a sweet spot that balances it well not limiting you your character input or by topic. it feels like walking in to a room and people being in it but they talk about different things and you can just move around freely and chat.

thisisduty I would also say that Qonversation has one major advantage over a regular forum, in that it isn't defined by topic. Most forums are built to discuss a given topic. The beauty of Qonversation is that it's open, you can discuss anything, much like twitter.

thisisduty I look at it as a cross between twitter and a forum. I'm quickly becoming addicted thats for sure :-D Will definitely be a lot better with significantly more users.

yojinbo It's not Twitter by a long shot: It's aesthetically pleasing although some might call it sterile. If this place had as many people on it I don't think it would feel as spartan.

dannygarcia I don't think it's too much like twitter since this is based more on having a conversation on a particular topic but I think it could use a notification system so you know when someone replies @ you.
